Wrapped like a loose choker, the first layer has three free form polished iridescent Pāua shell pieces  interspersed with four 10mm multi-hued Tahitian pearls. The second layer has seven free form hand-polished free form iridescent Pāua along with Pāua shell pieces at the closure - both hand knotted on well conditioned kangaroo leather. You can wear each necklace separately, or connect for a "wow" statement piece easily.

The Pāua (the Māori for this abalone) Haliotis iris species is sustainably harvested form the South Island New Zealand.
The Tahitian pearls come direct from a pearl farm in the Tuomotu Islands of French Polynesia.
The kangaroo leather comes from a 5th generation (105 years in business), small tannery in Australia specializing in vegetable tanned and sustainably sourced materials.
